Good morning, Highlands Ranch.
Did any of you see the cute mother bear and baby captured on video in backcountry recently?
Last weekend, a celebrity bear actually made visitations in the Ranch. Douglas County sent out general safety reminders in case you see one in the neighborhood—they don’t always act like Baloo from Jungle Book these days.
This all feels fitting because Saturday is National Black Bear Day.
In this week’s Scoop, we’ve got:
Summer concert series kick-off + a bunch of fantastic finds
A story about a mother here with a message relatable to all
A slightly updated structure for the weekly newsletter
Let’s get into it.
