Colorado is known for a lot of things — sweeping views, sunshine, and fresh mountain air. But come summer, there may be nothing more Colorado than a good farmers market.
We visited Highlands Ranch’s market on opening weekend (watch the reel here), and as the summer unfolds, we found a few more markets around the Ranch worth exploring — from local produce and fresh flowers to coffee and slow weekend energy.
In this guide, you’ll find:
5 farmers markets within 15–20 minutes of Highlands Ranch (depending on what side of the Ranch you live on)
4 different market days — midweek produce runs to full Sunday outings
A mix of small markets along with bigger ones with more vendors
Here are a few farmers markets around Highlands Ranch worth considering this summer.
5 Farmers Markets

Farmers Markets | South Denver Series
1. Highlands Ranch Farmers Market
📍Highlands Ranch Town Center
🗓️ Sunday | 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Runs April 6 - October 26
➜ View details
The hometown market.
Set right in Highlands Ranch Town Center, this one feels less like an event and more like part of the community rhythm — families walking over after coffee, neighbors running into each other and fresh Colorado produce spread across the center every Sunday morning.
You’ll find seasonal produce, local goods, food vendors and plenty of “see you next week” energy.
Best for: staying close to home, community feel and classic Sunday mornings in the Ranch
2. Downtown Littleton Farmers Market
📍West orbit: Downtown Littleton
📅Saturdays | 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Runs May - September
➜ View details
One of the newer markets around South Denver — but it already feels like a big one.
Run by the team behind the Parker Farmers Market, this Downtown Littleton market brings nearly 80 vendors to Nevada Avenue with produce, baked goods, meat, dairy and more. The best part might be what surrounds it — boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants that make it easy to turn into a full Saturday morning downtown.
Best for: full Saturday mornings, shopping local and downtown strolling vibes
3. Aspen Grove Farmers Market
📍West orbit: Littleton
📅 Fridays | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Runs June - September
➜ View details
A slower Friday morning kind of market.
Aspen Grove mixes local produce, flowers, baked goods, and coffee with an easy stroll through the shopping center. Great if you want to do some traditional shopping while grabbing some things from the market at the same time.
Best for: coffee walks, casual Friday mornings and easing into the weekend
4. Parker’s Farmers Market
📍East orbit | Downtown Parker
📅Sundays | 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. | No market June 14th | May - late October
➜ View details
Probably the biggest market on this list.
With more than 100 vendors, the Parker Farmers Market feels less like a quick stop and more like a full Sunday outing — local produce, meats, baked goods, flowers, food trucks and handmade goods packed into downtown Parker all summer long.
If you like farmers markets with energy, this is the one.
Best for: making a morning out of it, bigger vendor selection and peak summer market vibes
5. Sterling Ranch Farmers Market
📍South orbit: Providence Park
📅Wednesdays | 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. or sellout | June 24 - October 14
➜ View details
A little more neighborhood-market energy than destination market.
Set inside Sterling Ranch at Providence Park, this midweek market feels built for grabbing flowers, produce or something fresh after work while kids run around the park nearby. Smaller and more community-centered than Parker or Littleton — but that’s kind of the appeal.
Best for: midweek produce runs, neighborhood feel and easy summer afternoons
Farmers markets might be one of the best ways to stock produce this summer.
And whether you’re grabbing Palisade peaches, walking with a coffee or turning it into a full Saturday outing, you don’t have to go far to explore these easy outings.
From the neighborhood market in Sterling Ranch to bigger Sunday crowds in Parker, these all sit within about 15–20 minutes of Highlands Ranch — depending on what side of the Ranch you call home.
