The Ranch Scoop is a newsletter-first local publication focused on Highlands Ranch and the surrounding South Denver area.
We cover things to do, local guides, parks, restaurants, community happenings, outdoor spaces, and the everyday details that make living in the Ranch feel more connected.
Our goal is simple: help locals spend less time searching and more time enjoying where they live.
What makes The Scoop different is thoughtful curation. Instead of overwhelming readers with endless information and event dumps, we focus on finding the things worth knowing about — from local festivals and hidden parks to seasonal guides and everyday community moments.
Whether it’s a new wine walk, a neighborhood park buzzing on a summer evening, or a local event that quietly fills up every year, The Ranch Scoop exists to help readers feel more connected to where they live.
Hi, I’m Grace — founder and editor of The Ranch Scoop.
Much of my background has centered around writing, teaching, strategic planning, and knowledge management — helping people process information in a clearer, more thoughtful way.
Over the years, my work ranged from teaching writing to creating technical documentation and managing information systems where important knowledge often lived scattered across teams, conversations, and places people rarely looked.
The goal was always the same: make information more useful, accessible, and easier to navigate.
The Ranch Scoop grew from that same mindset.
For those living in and around Highlands Ranch — we make it easy to discover local events, parks, wellness activities, outdoor spaces, and the everyday details that make this place a vibrant and meaningful community.
We’re glad you found us. Thanks for being here.
