Highlands Ranch,
I’d never been before. Here’s what I found:
Thought trivia would be awkward & it wasn’t
3 local spots, 3 completely different vibes
Solo? Totally fine — you’ll still have fun
My assumptions: Awkward experience. Random questions. People taking it way too seriously. But I went anyway — and every single stop surprised me.
Not just the trivia, but the places themselves because each one had its own unique culture. Each had an endearing identity which was evident the second you walked in.
And honestly? Their names kind of say it all.

Local Trivia Tour | Highlands Ranch
🍺 Living the Dream Brewing — and you actually do.
🗓️ Tuesdays at 6:30pm
Cool, laid-back, great people, dogs everywhere. It felt easy in a great way. Like you accidentally stumbled into a perfect dream.
❤️💛💙 Max Taps — the logo doesn’t lie.
🗓️ Tuesdays at 7pm
It basically screams Colorado without saying a word. Local, authentic, and a CO kind of crowd that came to play. Also had some awesome dogs.
🍀 Lansdowne Arms — warm, cozy Irish pub energy.
🗓️ Thursdays at 6pm
The kind of place you settle into without even trying. Friendly, relaxed, and exactly what you want trivia night to feel like.
And the trivia itself? Slightly different at each spot, but that’s kind of the point. It keeps it interesting.
I showed up not knowing anyone and still ended up talking to people, laughing, and actually having fun at every stop.
So yeah, I was wrong about trivia. Bring a team. Or don’t. Just go if you’re curious or need an excuse to get out and about.
For now, that’s the Ranch take, ya’ll.
