At some point, date night can turn into “where do you want to eat?” followed by “I don't care, where do you want to eat?”
We're fixing that.
From golden hour right here in the Ranch to wine in Littleton, sunset at Daniels Park, and a night wandering Downtown Castle Rock, here are six dates you can steal from us.
Pick one. Put it on the calendar. Flirt and have fun with your person.
Let's go.

South Denver Dates

The Sunset Date
📍 Daniels Park + Castle Pines
Do.
Head to Daniels Park before sunset and grab a spot overlooking the Front Range. Take in the views, walk around, and stay through golden hour.
Eat.
Head into Castle Pines for dinner and cocktails at Canyon House Kitchen + Cocktails, tucked into The Canyons.
Vibe.
Big Colorado views followed by dinner in the pines. Romantic, easy, and not too far from home.
The Ranch Date
📍 Highlands Ranch
Do.
Start with a golden-hour walk. Pick your scenery: Highlands Ranch Historic Park for Mansion views + a little Ranch history, or Cheese Ranch Historic Park for the pond, windmill, and a surprisingly tucked-away feel
Scoop note: There’s no dedicated lot at Cheese Ranch, so factor in a short walk from nearby street parking.
Eat.
Pick your dinner vibe: Postino for wine, bruschetta and something easy to share, or Smokin Fins or sushi, cocktails, and more of a classic dinner date.
Vibe.
Low-key, pretty, and completely local. Proof you don't have to leave the Ranch to make a regular weeknight date happen.
The Pour + Dinner Date
📍 Littleton
Do.
Pick your pour. Go with Carboy Winery for the more romantic version, Colorado wine, tastings and a mountain-facing patio, or Breckenridge Brewery for a casual beer-garden date with brews, lawn games and plenty of room to hang out.
Eat.
Then head into Historic Downtown Littleton for dinner at Cafe Terracotta, tucked inside a historic house just off Main Street.
Vibe.
Colorado casual meets date night. Pick wine or beer, then head downtown for a cozy dinner.
The Creative Date
📍 Highlands Ranch
Do.
Try the pottery wheel together at Pottery Brothers. Their beginner-friendly pottery experiences let you get behind the wheel without needing to know what you're doing, arguably part of the fun.
Eat.
Grab a casual dinner or drinks nearby afterward.
Vibe.
Messy hands, questionable pottery skills, and plenty to laugh about. More memorable than another dinner across the table.
The Active Date
📍 Lone Tree
Do.
Hike Bluffs Regional Park Trail, a 2.7-mile loop with Front Range views and just enough elevation to feel like you earned what comes next.
Eat.
Head to Sierra in RidgeGate afterward for wood-fired food, cocktails, and more views to finish the night.
Vibe.
Fresh air, mountain views and margaritas. Active without turning date night into a full-blown hiking expedition.
The Downtown Date
📍 Castle Rock
Do.
Head to to Downtown Castle Rock and wander. Walk through Festival Park, stroll Wilcox and Perry Streets, and pop into whatever catches your eye.
Eat.
Have dinner at Scileppi’s at The Old Stone Church. t's Italian served inside a historic stone church, making the restaurant part of the experience.
Drink.
Not ready to head home? Walk over to Provision for one more cocktail in its cozy, speakeasy-style space.
Vibe.
Dinner, a nostalgic downtown stroll + one more drink. No big itinerary required.
Save These Date Ideas
Because six dates probably aren't going to cover the whole year.
Purgatory Cellars — Parker
Make wine tasting the main event.
Hudson Gardens — Littleton
An easy stroll when you want something pretty and low-key.
Lone Tree Arts Center — Lone Tree
Check the calendar and make a show the centerpiece of the night.
Keep It Casual — Highlands Ranch
Bowling, trivia, or another easy activity when you want something fun without making a whole production of it.
Unofficial Date Tips
We’re not relationship experts. These just seem like good ideas.
Flirt with your person.
If you’ve been married forever or it’s a first date, don't forget to flirt a little. Yes, intentionally. You’re on a date, after all.
Ask something you don't already know.
You've probably covered “how was your day?” Try something you haven't asked before. Conversation cards are also great for striking up a different conversation or each come up with one question before you leave.
Try something neither of you is good at.
Pottery. Pickleball. Wine tasting if we're being generous about what counts as a skill. Being equally terrible at something is half the fun.
Most important: actually call it a date.
Not dinner. Not running out for a drink. A date. There's something different about deciding that's what you're doing.
Whether you've been married forever or you've been working up the nerve to finally ask that person out, consider this your sign to plan a date.
Pick a place. Put it on the calendar. Go have some fun.
And if the sunset isn't perfect, the pottery turns out terrible, or dinner doesn't quite live up to the hype? It doesn’t matter. The company is kind of the point anyway.
Have a date we should add to the list? Send it our way.
